About

The Friars is located in an idyllic rural setting in the heart of the Kentish countryside near Maidstone. The Friars is one of Kent's hidden treasures, home to a small community of Carmelite Friars in the medieval buildings.  

The well established conference centre has 8 meeting rooms of varying sizes, accommodating up to 20 delegates, set in beautiful grounds on the banks of the River Medway. There are various options for refreshments and catering. The medieval Priory houses an 80 bedroom guesthouse that is simple but comfortable.

Many businesses appreciate the peaceful atmmosphere finding it an aid to their meetings.

All rooms have natural daylight and are situated on the ground floor.
